Class went well. The information provided was really helpful and insightful, but I feel as though they could have presented it in a better way. The way in which they presented got boring fast....I really liked the videos though....

Hi Dr. Bogad,
I really liked the handout about common labels, and how it got me thinking of how labels/names are very powerful and can send a strong negative message to diverse students. Many of them make it seem as though English is the only important thing and that the child's own language and culture is not recognized at all. I can't imagine how they must feel!

I honestly thought that it was boring. The only part that really caught my attention were the videos.
Ps. Did you get my comment about not being able to attend class?
